Murray Vice President, Wendy Flanagan, will be inducted to the New Jersey Advertising Hall of Fame on March 13 (www.njadclub.org), as well as recognized as one of the NJBiz New Jersey's 2007 Best 50 Women in Business award winners on March 19.
New Jersey Advertising Hall of Fame. All nominees are people who have made an outstanding contribution to the creative and/or economic value of advertising, marketing or public relations, and whose efforts have significantly advanced the status of the profession in the Garden State. Additionally, candidates must have been actively engaged in advertising, marketing or communications for a minimum of ten years, with a substantial portion of the time spent pursuing his or her career in New Jersey. The criteria outlined by the organizing committee includes: Leadership, Creativity, Integrity, Philanthropy, Economic Contributions, Achievements of National Significance and Personal Activities. Past HOF inductees have been luminaries from the media, ad agencies, market research firms, public relations, out-of-home, and corporate marketing departments, including legends such as: John B. Gambling, Leonard Dreyfuss, Emanuel London and George H. Gallup. The New Jersey Advertising Hall of Fame began nearly a quarter of a century ago with a mission to highlight the contributions communications professionals from every walk of life had made to the advertising industry. The Hall of Fame trophy is on permanent display at the School of Business at Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, NJ. This year's other inductees include Rick Bonelli of Sunspots Creative, Grace DePaolo of Daytop Village, and Allan Gorman of Brandspa.
