A smart system promotes people, products and positioning.

Challenge.
ADP Brokerage Services Group needed to get current information to their sales representatives in a way that was meaningful and up-to-date. The previous system had not engaged the user or the person submitting content in a way that would promote ownership. Additionally, people wasted a great deal of time searching for documents and downloading them, only to find that the document wasn’t what they were looking for.
Action.
Murray designed a library for SIMOn that actually lets users know when an update has been made. As well, an email notification is triggered to provide a ‘heads up’ when new material is online. Users
can view a thumbnail and read a short description of the piece – before downloading. Users have the ability to rate each piece of collateral and provide feedback for a constant cycle of best-in-class improvement. This spirit of employee engagement even led to the creation of the character, “SIMOn”, who acts as a simple animated greeting on first visit to engage the user and stimulate interest in the new and improved library.

Results.
Sales and marketing reps alike are enjoying the easy-to-use SIMOn application. The library provides all types of collateral broken down by target audience: presentations, brochures, sell sheets, etc.
The thumbnail view and short description help the search to be extremely specific, and provides a timesaving snapshot to the user. Success stories, event listings leadership highlights keep content meaningful for the people who use this toolset.
